I was selected to study in Florence, Italy for the month of June 2005. It was an exciting, dream come true experience where I could soak up the culture where opera was born!

THE COUNTDOWN BEGINS!

13 days to go until I flee... *ahem*... I mean, fly to Italy to study for the month of June. I get to arrive a day early in Florence before the program starts and before I can move into my apartment, so I'm going to cut myself loose on the city! Watch out Italy!!! So, I'm sure I'll have all sorts of exciting stories from that day to tell you. No worries, I'll be sure to keep you posted! Also, I'm hoping I'll be able to post pictures while I'm there from my digital camera. So, be sure to look for those. If not, you'll definitely see those in July when I return to the US. Thanks for your love and support. And I hope you enjoy reading about my adventures in Italy.

    Thanks David! My flights went well, but I was so glad when they were over! I can not sleep on a plane! Ha! I have taken a few pictures so far but I know I will take tons more before too long! I'm way too picture happy! I'll definitely show you the pictures when I get back. Keep in touch by checking my blog often.
